This is the website of the N Gauge Society's World Wide Group. The group, itself, is for modellers in N Gauge, interested in modelling railways outside of Great Britain, regardless of age or period. This does include steam, diesel, and electric.

To be a member of this area group, you will need to be a member of the N Gauge Society as all NGS area groups are open to members of the N Gauge Society only.

If you are not a member of the N Gauge Society, joining couldn't be simpler. The Society has the facility for joining online via a secure server - Join the N Gauge Society.

There are many benefits to joining the N Gauge Society - exclusive society kits, an extensive library, discounts with certain shops, a bi-monthly journal devoted exclusively to N Gauge railway modelling and area groups throughout the UK.

2018 Convention

An important date for your diary! Saturday 21st April 2018 will be the date for our annual convention and the Annual General Meeting of the WorldWide Group. Planning has already started for this event and I am now looking for a limited number of suitable exhibitors or demonstators and additional operators/ helpers. Accommodation and meals will be provided for exhibitors/workers for two nights in shared twin rooms. This will be at the Kegworth Hotel, adjacent to Junction 24 of M1, just north of Loughbrough. Although a one day convention we are making this a social weekend with a gala dinner on the Saturday evening to mark the 10th Anniversary of The Globe. Non exhibiting members will be welcome to stay at the preferential rates of £140 per room for two nights B and B with dinner on Friday night. Cost of gala dinner for guests will be around £25 per head plus drinks. To allow planning and enable suitable rooms to be reserved please contact me, John Brady, as soon as possible to discuss your offering or requirements. For obvious reasons, it may be difficult to add latecomers to this event. The hotel will only hold so many rooms and for so long unless we guarantee them. You can book direct on their website but won't get the included Dinner on Friday.
